Fall Festival
The Fall Festival is a themed recital in which students perform a single piece that is adjudicated on musicality and technique.
Eligibility to enter: ONE memorized piece no longer than 4 minutes according to the annually selected theme. All compositions written for the original instrument and all levels are eligible. NO REPEATS, D.C. is okay. One movement of a sonata/sonatina is allowed. Piano entries are limited to original works, no lesson/method books. No duplicate pieces within a studio will be permitted. Entries must be 16 measures minimum - all others are subject to variance committee approval. If you have questions about repertoire exceptions please email the festival chair.
All entries must be submitted to the festival chair via email at carlislemusicstudio@gmail.com
2025 Theme: Music of the Seasons!
This year we celebrate music inspired by the beauty and variety of nature. To qualify, the piece title (or set that it is from) must include something from Nature, Color, Animals, or Weather. The music/sound itself alluding to the theme is not enough to qualify.
Look over the festival guidelines that are on the application for further specifics toward piece eligibility.
Applications due October 10, 2025 to Tyler Carlisle
Applications are found in the teachers page. One application per studio.
Festival date: November 15, 2025
