Fall Festival
The Fall Festival is a themed recital in which students perform a single piece that is adjudicated on musicality and technique.
Eligibility to enter: ONE memorized piece no longer than 4 minutes according to the annually selected theme. All compositions written for the original instrument and all levels are eligible. NO REPEATS, D.C. is okay. One movement of a sonata/sonatina is allowed. Piano entries are limited to original works, no lesson/method books. No duplicate pieces within a studio will be permitted. Entries must be 16 measures minimum - all others are subject to variance committee approval. If you have questions about repertoire exceptions please email the festival chair.

2026 Theme: Got Rhythm!
This year we celebrate music inspired by irregular rhythms and/or shifting time signatures. Piece titles or the use of rhythms with a specific rhythm name will also qualify. (ex: Tango, Bolero, Polonaise)
The repertoire committee is available August 1 through the application deadline to review repertoire. Any pieces that do not qualify will make the student ineligible regardless of application status.
